Tasty salad with squid and crab sticks
A delicious salad with calamari and crab sticks can be prepared on the festive table or just served for lunch or dinner. The salad turns out to be useful and satisfying, a slice of fresh bread in addition, and even a man can be fed to the full if he does not spend a lot of energy at work. Seafood goes well with rice and corn. It is better to cook crumbly rice, round rice for salads is not very suitable - too sticky. For dressing, mix mayonnaise with freshly squeezed orange juice to reduce the number of calories per serving, you can replace mayonnaise with unsweetened thick yogurt.

Ingredients for Salad with Squid and Crab Sticks
- 2 carcasses of squid;
- 200 g of crab sticks;
- 4 eggs;
- 150 g of boiled rice;
- 200 g canned corn;
- 50 g of parmesan;
- ½ orange;
- 100 g mayonnaise;
- sea salt, black pepper;
- prawns, parsley, pomegranate seeds for decoration.
The method of preparing a delicious salad with squid and crab sticks
Defrost squid carcasses, remove the insides. Pour 2 liters of water into the pan, pour 2 teaspoons of salt, bring to a boil. Dip the squid in boiling water for 3 minutes, then transfer to cold water. We clean the remnants of the skin, thoroughly rinse the carcasses with running water.
We tilt the canned corn onto a sieve, let the liquid drain. For a salad with squid and crab sticks, you can rinse the corn with boiled water to wash off the preservatives. When the liquid has completely drained, put the corn in a salad bowl.
Squid carcasses are cut into narrow, thin strips. Put chopped squid in a salad bowl.
Next, add the boiled rice until ready. Before cooking, the rice needs to be washed, then pour cold water in a ratio of 2 to 1, bring to a boil, salt, cover with a lid and cook over low heat for 15 minutes, cool.
Now we put crab sticks cut into small cubes in a salad bowl, crab meat is also suitable for this recipe.
Hard-boiled chicken eggs, cool, clean, separate the proteins from the yolks. We rub the egg whites on a coarse grater or cut into cubes, add to the rest of the ingredients, and put grated parmesan or any other hard spicy cheese in a salad bowl.
We make salad dressing with squid and crab sticks. Put the mayonnaise in a bowl, squeeze the juice from half a fresh orange. So that the orange bones do not get into the dressing, I advise filtering the juice through a sieve.
Add freshly ground black pepper and a pinch of sea salt to the dressing, mix.
Pour dressing into the salad, mix thoroughly.
We rub boiled egg yolks on a fine grater. If the yolks are faded, you can revive the color by sprinkling them with a pinch of ground turmeric. We spread the salad with a slide, sprinkle with grated yolk.
We decorate the finished dish with cocktail shrimps, leaves of fresh herbs, you can add pomegranate seeds or olive to the decorations.
Immediately serve the salad with squid and crab sticks on the table. Seafood snacks should not be prepared in advance, it is better 1 hour before eating, and even better immediately before serving. Enjoy your meal.
