Phalaenopsis - one of the most beautiful orchids, "butterfly orchids." The wingspan of the flower can reach 8 cm. The color palette is very large - white, yellow, purple and even green, evenly colored or patterned. The contrasting lip of the flower stands out against the background of the petals.

Contrary to popular belief, caring for phalaenopsis is not so difficult, they are unpretentious. This is the perfect orchid for the beginner. The plant will feel comfortable in a warm, bright place, out of the reach of direct sunlight. The temperature in the room should not fall below 18 degrees. In the "rest period", within 1-2 months, when the orchid lays buds, it needs a lower temperature - 16 degrees.
It is most convenient to water the phalaenopsis by the bathing method - immerse the pot with the plant for a short time in a bucket of soft water. Just be careful - moisture should not get to the growth point, this threatens rotting and death of the plant! Orchid loves moist air - spray it from time to time, try not to get water on the flowers. In summer, feed Phalaenopsis twice a week with special fertilizers in a weak concentration. It is worth replanting only when the plant growth is stopped in a close pot.
With proper care, the orchid will delight you with regular and long flowering.
