When choosing this type of product, special attention should be paid to the quality of the paint and the quality of the paint used. The appearance of decorative gravel depends on this and how long it will keep the color fresh.
In the production of decorative gravel, only high-quality components are used. This allows you to produce decorative gravel with bright colors and a long shelf life. Granite crushed stone is used as a base for the production of decorative crushed stone.
The method of laying decorative crushed stone is quite simple.
1. Ground preparation:
a) It is necessary to plan the relief; use a bayonet or shovel shovel, rake at the filling site.
b) Remove large weed rhizomes.
2. Soil isolation:
a) Cover the place of backfill with dense material (polyethylene film, roofing felt, etc.) or pour concrete screed with a thickness of at least 5 cm.
b) It is necessary to make drainage in the lowest place for outflow of water in case of precipitation.
3. Framing the backfill:
In order to prevent crushed stone from scattering outside the site, it is necessary to establish a barrier around the perimeter of the latter.
4. Preparation for backfill:
If the first method of soil insulation is used, it is necessary, in order to avoid forcing the insulating material (film, roofing material, etc.), to pre-fill and compact the sand layer (soap) 3-5 cm.
Open the bag with crushed stone with a sharp object and gently, without violating the preparatory layer, evenly pour crushed stone onto the prepared surface. After pouring the last bag, evenly smooth the entire area.
Throw the bags to the dump !!!
