Casserole with broccoli and chicken

Thanks to modern technology, we have not experienced a shortage of frozen broccoli for a long time, so all the ingredients for this recipe can be found in the nearest grocery store. Just a few minutes to prepare the ingredients, then the casserole can be put in the oven and forget about it for half an hour. Hassle is not enough, and as a result a healthy dish will turn out that I think will appeal to all family members.
I wanted to show off erudition and tell some interesting facts about broccoli. Previously, this close relative of cauliflower in England was called "Italian asparagus", and one head of broccoli contains almost 900% of the daily intake of vitamin C, provided that you can eat a pound of cabbage at dinner. Broccoli and Chicken Fillet Ingredients
- 200 g chicken;
- 350 g broccoli;
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 20 g semolina;
- milk, onions, leeks, chili peppers, butter and frying oil.

Chicken fillet cut into thin strips. Fry finely chopped onions in a mixture of vegetable and butter (in equal proportions), add strips of chicken, fry for several minutes, then remove from heat and transfer the chicken to a flat refractory form. Pre-grease the form with cold butter and sprinkle with semolina.
We cut broccoli into small inflorescences. Steam or boil in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. You can cook this dish from both frozen broccoli and fresh, there is no fundamental difference. In addition, research suggests that many beneficial substances are well preserved in frozen broccoli.
Add steamed broccoli to the chicken.
We season the dish with green chili, but this is individual, if you do not like spicy food, then you can skip this step.
We mix two large chicken eggs with salt and two tablespoons of milk, stir with a fork, pour chicken fillet and broccoli with an egg mixture. You do not need to beat the eggs, just mix them slightly with a fork. You can add a tablespoon of semolina to the mixture of eggs and milk, the casserole will be more dense and, naturally, more satisfying.
Sprinkle the casserole with leek, fried in butter. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
This tender casserole must be cooked in “soft” conditions so that the green color of the cabbage is preserved and the omelet is not burnt. Therefore, pour hot water into the pan, and then put the form with broccoli in it. Cook in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, remove the casserole when the eggs are ready.
You can prepare Dutch or cream sauce for the broccoli casserole with chicken fillet, season it with green onions, chili pepper and serve hot, but, by the way, it is also very tasty cold.
